Software Engineer-Backend

We are creating the future of cloud enterprise marketing applications. We seek a self-motivated individual who enjoys the dynamics of a startup company and passionate about solving large scale engineering problems.

Your job

› Extensive experience with relational database systems and SQL in high volume transactional applications

› Use the latest technologies and often technology that hasn't even been released yet.

› Become an active stakeholder of the projects you're involved in. As a stakeholder you will have a share of voice and say in the project. And we expect you to do so.

› Act from within your knowledge of the platform and complementary technologies to help define feasibility and how-to-execute, all in close collaboration with the entire team.

› Be a technology ambassador. You will keep an eye on new OS versions, frameworks, technologies and anything else that will help us stay ahead as a technology company.

Your profile

›Technically Savvy. C++/Java/Python/PHP/Perl

› BS or MS in Computer Science or related field

› Write clean, understandable code. In fact, you're proud of the code you write!

› 2 - 5+ years of experience designing and developing large scale applications with high availability and reliability, ideally in a SaaS environment

›Technologies: Mapreduce/Hadoop/Hive/AWS/EC2/RedShift/Mysql

› Experience with working in scrum is a big fat plus.

› Experience with Data driven products and operations
